Lincoln Nautilus: Vehicle Dynamic Suspension / Vehicle Dynamics Control Module (VDM). Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTICE:

Vehicles equipped with subwoofer

Remove the subwoofer and amplifier unit.
Refer to: Subwoofer and Amplifier Unit (415-00 Information and
Entertainment System - General Information - Vehicles With: SYNC 4,
Removal and Installation).
Vehicles without subwoofer

Remove the RH loadspace trim panel.
Refer to: Loadspace Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
All vehicles

NOTE:
The VDM is mounted to the RH side of the luggage compartment behind the loadspace trim panel.

Disconnect the VDM electrical connectors.

Remove the VDM retainers and the VDM .
Torque:
13 lb.in (1.5 Nm)
Installation

To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Calibrate the VDM . Connect the scan tool and carry out the Ride Height Calibration routine. Follow the scan tool directions.
