Lincoln Nautilus: Front End Body Panels / Active Grille Shutter Actuator. Removal and Installation

Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

1. Remove the active grille shutter.
   Refer to: Active Grille Shutter (501-02 Front End Body Panels, Removal and Installation).
   

1. Release the clips and remove the linkage.
   

1. Release the vanes from the active grille shutter.
   

1. Remove the vanes and the drive shaft from active grille shutter actuator.
   

1. Remove the retaining clip.
   

1. Using a screwdriver, push down on the clip and remove the active grille shutter actuator.
   

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
