Removal

NOTE: Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.

  1. Remove the cooling module.
    Refer to: Cooling Module (303-03A Engine Cooling - 2.0L EcoBoost (184kW/250PS) – MI4, Removal and Installation).
  1. Remove the cooling module seals.
  1. Release the clamps and remove the transmission cooler lines.
    Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)
  1. Remove the bolts, release the tabs and remove the condenser.
    Torque: 53 lb.in (6 Nm)

Installation

  1. To install reverse the removal procedure.
  1. Lubricate the refrigerant system with the correct amount of clean PAG oil. Refer to the appropriate Refrigerant Oil Adding procedure in Group 412.
