Lincoln Nautilus: Bumpers / Front Bumper Cover. Disassembly and Assembly

DISASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the front bumper cover.
    Refer to: Front Bumper Cover (501-19 Bumpers, Removal and Installation).
  1. On both sides.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    1. Separate the wire harness retainer.
    1. Remove the screws and the daytime running lamp assembly.
  1. On both sides.
    1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
    1. Separate the wire harness retainers.
    1. Remove the screws and the fog lamp assembly.

  1. Remove the front parking aid and park assist sensor.
    1. Disconnect the front parking aid and park assist sensor electrical connector.
    1. Release the tabs.
    1. Remove the front parking aid and active park assist sensor from the bracket.
  1. If equipped, on both sides.
    Disconnect the side marker lamp electrical connector.
    1. Disconnect the front camera electrical connector.
    1. Separate the washer hose retainer.
    1. Disconnect the front camera washer hose.
    1. Remove the screws, the bracket and the front camera.
  1. Separate the harness guides and remove the front bumper cover harness.
  1. On both sides.
    Remove the screws, release the tabs and remove the lower grille.
  1. If equipped.
    Drill the rivets and remove the license plate bracket.
  1. If equipped.
    Release the tabs and remove the tow hook cover.
  1. On both sides.
    Drill the rivets and remove the front bumper cover to fender bracket.
  1. If equipped, on both sides.
    Release the tabs and remove the side marker lamp.
  1. Remove the screw, the push nut, release the tab and remove the front bumper cover emblem.
  1. Remove the screws and the radiator grille.
  1. Release the tabs and remove the radiator grille frame.
  1. Release the tabs and remove the lower radiator grille.
  1. Drill the rivets, release the tabs and remove the front bumper lower cover.

ASSEMBLY

  1. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
