NOTE:
Refer to the appropriate Section 303-01 for the specification.

Measure the piston diameter 90 degrees from the piston
pin and down from the top of the piston to the point indicated.
Oil Pressure Test 2.7L EcoBoost & 3.3L Duratec & 5.0L Ti-VCT
NOTE:
It is necessary to disconnect the battery to avoid
setting any DTCs that could cause the PCM to command the oil pressure to
other than what should be observed from a correctly operating system
during the oil pressure test...
Inspection
NOTE:
Do not use a caustic cleaning solution or a wire brush to clean the pistons or damage can occur.
Clean and inspect the (1) ring lands, (2) pin bosses,
(3) skirts and the (4) tops of the pistons...

NOTE:
If the seatbelt webbing does not extract from the seatbelt
retractor from the stowed position, this may be due to a normal
condition which happens when the seatbelt retracts at a high rate of
speed. Follow these steps to release the seatbelt...
Lift the wiper arm.Note: Do not hold the wiper blade to lift
the
wiper arm.
Remove the wiper blade.Note: Make sure that the wiper arm does
not spring back against the glass when the
wiper blade is not attached.
To install, reverse the removal procedure...
