Locating the Vehicle Identification Number
The vehicle identification number is located
on the left-hand side of the instrument panel.

In the graphic, XXXX is representative of
your vehicle identification number.
Vehicle Identification Number Overview
The vehicle identification number contains
the following information:

- World manufacturer identifier.
- Brake system, gross vehicle weight
rating, restraint devices and their
locations.
- Make, vehicle line, series, body
type.
- Engine or motor type.
- Check digit.
- Model year.
- Assembly plant.
- Production sequence number.
Use fluid that meets the defined specification
and viscosity grade.
If you do not use fluid that meets the defined
specification and viscosity grade, it could
result in:

warranty does not cover...

allows your vehicle to connect to a mobile
network and for you to access a range of

To program your smartphone as Phone as a
Key:
Visit your device's app store to download
the Lincoln Way app.
Create or sign-in to the Lincoln Way app
and add the vehicle identification number
to your account.
Once you add the vehicle identification
number, follow the prompts in the Lincoln
Way app to complete the Sync Connect

No factory-equipped vehicle should have more than a 25 mA
(0.025 amp) – 50 mA (0.050) draw depending on the vehicle's accessories.
Check for current drains on the battery in excess of 25 mA (0.025 amp) –
50 mA (0.050) with all the electrical accessories off and the vehicle
at rest for at least 75 minutes (depending on region)...
