Lincoln Nautilus: Capacities and Specifications / Brake Fluid Specification
Use fluid that meets the defined specification
and viscosity grade.
If you do not use fluid that meets the defined
specification and viscosity grade, it could
result in:
- Component damage that your vehicle
warranty does not cover.
- Reduced brake performance.
Note: We recommend you use DOT 4 Low
Viscosity (LV) High Performance Brake Fluid
or equivalent meeting WSS-M6C65-A2. If
you use any fluid other than the
recommended fluid, it could cause reduced
brake performance and not meet our
performance standards. Keep brake fluid
clean and dry. Contamination with dirt,
water, petroleum products or other materials
could result in brake system damage and
possible failure.

Battery and Cables
Vehicles
are equipped with a 12-volt, Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) maintenance-free
battery. The battery is a 12V DC source connected in a negative ground
system and is a voltage stabilizer for the 12V electrical system...
WARNING: Do not adjust the spring
bars so that your vehicle's rear bumper is
higher than before attaching the trailer.
Doing so will defeat the function of the
weight-distributing hitch, which may cause
unpredictable handling, and could result
in serious personal injury...
