Lincoln Nautilus: Multifunction Electronic Modules / Rear Door Module (RDM). Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
Removal steps in this procedure may contain installation details.
NOTE:
If installing a new module, it is not necessary to upload
the module configuration information to the diagnostic scan tool prior
to removing the module. If the RDM is replaced with a part with the same
suffix level, the DDM and PDM will automatically transfer the
respective configuration to the new RDM upon first powering up.

Remove the rear door trim panel.
Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the bolts and the RDM .

Disconnect the elecrical connectors.
Torque:
44 lb.in (5 Nm)
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Both speakers
Remove the rear door trim panel.
Refer to: Rear Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).
Door woofer speaker
Remove the bolts and the rear door speaker.
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Torque:
22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)..
What Is Alert and Aid Mode
Alert and aid mode uses multiple features to
keep you in your lane. The system first
provides a small steering input to bring your
vehicle back towards the center of the lane.
If your vehicle moves too far out of the center
of the lane the system alerts you with
vibration in the steering wheel.
