Lincoln Nautilus: Vehicle Dynamic Suspension / Front Suspension Height Sensor. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:

Position vehicle on a hoist.
Refer to: Jacking and Lifting - Overview (100-02 Jacking and Lifting, Description and Operation).

NOTE:
RH height sensor assembly shown, LH similar.

Disconnect the front height sensor electrical connector.
-
Unclip the front height sensor wire harness from the front height sensor and position the harness aside.
-
Remove the front height sensor arm bracket bolt.
Torque:
177 lb.in (20 Nm)

Remove the front height sensor bracket bolt and remove the front height sensor.
Torque:
177 lb.in (20 Nm)
Installation

NOTE:
The RH and LH height sensor assemblies cannot be used on opposite sides of the vehicle.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Calibrate the suspension system. Connect the scan tool
and carry out the Ride Height Calibration routine. Follow the scan tool
directions.

A/C refrigerant. Failure to do so puts the shop's bulk refrigerant at

refer the customer to the service facility that carried out the last
A/C service...
