Lincoln Nautilus: Body Closures / Liftgate Anti-Pinch Switch. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
LH side shown, RH side similar.

Remove the liftgate trim panel.
Refer to: Liftgate Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Disconnect the liftgate anti-pinch switch electrical connector.

Remove the retainers.
-
Remove the liftgate anti-pinch switch.
-
Remove the rubber grommet and route the electrical connector out of the liftgate.

Remove the liftgate anti-pinch switch.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Remove the liftgate upper trim panel.

Remove the D-pillar trim panel.
