Lincoln Nautilus: Rear Suspension / Wheel Bearing and Wheel Hub - FWD. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTICE:
Suspension fasteners are critical parts that affect the
performance of vital components and systems. Failure of these fasteners
may result in major service expense. Use the same or equivalent parts if
replacement is necessary. Do not use a replacement part of lesser
quality or substitute design. Tighten fasteners as specified.

Remove the brake disc.
Refer to: Brake Disc (206-04 Rear Disc Brake)

Remove the wheel speed sensor screw and position the wheel speed sensor aside.

Remove and discard the wheel bearing and wheel hub retainers and remove the wheel bearing and wheel hub.
Installation

NOTE:
Tighten in a cross pattern.
Install the wheel bearing and wheel hub and install the new wheel bearing and wheel hub retainers.
Torque:
98 lb.ft (133 Nm)

Position the wheel speed sensor and install the wheel speed sensor screw.
Torque:
48 lb.in (5.4 Nm)

Install the brake disc.

Inspection
NOTE:
A coolant leak in the heater hose could follow the
heater core tube to the heater core and appear as a leak in the heater
core.
Inspect for evidence of coolant leakage at the heater hose to heater core attachments.
NOTE:
Spring-type clamps are installed as original
equipment...
