Lincoln Nautilus: Glass, Frames and Mechanisms / Front Door Window Glass. Removal and Installation
Removal
NOTE:
LH side shown, RH side similar.

Remove the front door trim panel.
Refer to: Front Door Trim Panel (501-05 Interior Trim and Ornamentation, Removal and Installation).

Remove the watershield.
-
Remove the front door speaker.
-
Disconnect the electrical connector and position aside the wiring harness.
-
Remove the retainers and remove the front door speaker.
Torque:
22 lb.in (2.5 Nm)

Install the front door window control switch and lower the glass to the three-quarter down position.

NOTE:
Front door window glass removed for clarity.
Remove the inner belt moulding.

NOTE:
Front door window glass removed for clarity.
Remove the retainers and the inner upper door trim.
-
Release the retaining clips from front door window glass.
-
Remove the front door window glass.
-
NOTE:
LH side shown, the RH side should be rotated counter-clockwise.
Rotate the front door window glass 45 degrees clockwise.

Remove the front door window glass.
Installation
-
To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Carry out the power door window initialization.
Refer to: Power Door Window Initialization (501-11 Glass, Frames and Mechanisms, General Procedures).

Removal
Remove the instrument panel.
Refer to: Instrument Panel (501-12 Instrument Panel and Console, Removal and Installation).
Disconnect the electrical connector.
Rotate and remove the sensor.

To install, reverse the removal procedure...

your tire pressure monitoring system and
should only be used in roadside
emergencies. If you must use a sealant, use
the Tire Mobility Kit sealant. Replace the tire
pressure monitoring system sensor and
valve stem on the wheel by an authorized
dealer after use of the sealant.
