Lincoln Nautilus: Interior Trim and Ornamentation / Liftgate Trim Panel. Removal and Installation

Removal

1. Release the clips and remove the liftgate upper center trim panel.
   

1. Release the clips and remove the liftgate grab handle cover.
   

1. Remove the liftgate grab handle screws.
   

1. 
   Remove the lower and side liftgate trim panels as an assembly.
   
   1. On both sides.
      Release the side liftgate trim panel upper retainer.
      
   2. On both sides.
      Release the side liftgate trim panel middle retainer.
      
   3. Release the retainers and remove the side and lower liftgate trim panels as an assembly.
      
   4. If equipped.
      Disconnect the power liftgate switch electrical connector.
      
   5. If equipped.
      Disconnect the rear closure interior lamp electrical connector.
      

1. Release the clips and remove the lifgate side trim panels.
   

Installation

1. 
   Install the liftgate lower trim panel.
   
   1. If equipped.
      Connect the rear closure interior lamp electrical connector.
      
   2. If equipped.
      Connect the power liftgate switch electrical connector.
      
   3. Install the lower trim panel.
      

1. Install the liftgate grab handle screws.
   

1. Install the liftgate grab handle cover.
   

1. Install the RH and LH liftgate upper side trim panels.
   

1. Install the liftgate upper center trim panel.
